Hockey is Our Game - Lap Quilt - featuring With Glowing Hearts by Grace Noel 2016
I am proudly Canadian and a hockey fan. In 2016, Trendtex Fabrics commissioned Grace Noel to design a Canadian fabric line to honour our 150th anniversary as a country in 2017. What better way to celebrate our country than to honour the game of hockey which is truly our game. This quilt design was inspired by the artwork of Richard Brodeur who is a former goaltender for my Vancouver Canucks. I admire him for both his gift to the game and his gift to the artworld.
