I would love to be sitting on the porch at our cabin right now. There is something about being beside water that is so calming. I think this was the first time I designed a quilt that included both regular quilting cotton and batiks. The fabric line included both types of fabric which was an awesome idea. The almost translucent quality of the blue and green batiks give the quilt depth that would not have been possible with regular cotton alone.
