Fleurs - Wall Quilt - featuring Welcome Home - Collection One by Jennifer Bosworth 2016.
This quilt was inspired by a floral display outside a flower shop in Paris. Is it the color, the shape or the scent of flowers that make us so happy or the combination of all three? My husband and I spent hours walking through Paris and flower shop after flower shop had the most beautiful arrangements at the front of the shops. When I saw Jennifer’s fabric line, I thought it would be perfect to try and create a fabric version of one of my photos. I usually machine sew my appliqués on samples, but each piece on this sample was sewn on by hand. So perfect for spring, this quilt makes me happy.
